Redbull BC One All Stars on Tour

The Red Bull BC One All Stars which were introduced in June and who are managed by Six Step performed already in several countries. They were already invited to Russia, South Africa, the Middle East, France and Austria to pass on their knowledge to the younger breakdance generation. In the upcoming months the tour will be continued in Romania, South America, Berlaus, the Netherlands and Japan.

European Laboratory Of Hip Hop Dance

Together with our partners Banlieues d´Europe (Lyon), Lézarts Urbains (Brüssel), Independance (London) and The Spin Off Company (Amsterdam) the Six Step team is responsible for a dance and culture project which is funded by the European Comission of Culture. Till may 2011 an international series of workshops and master classes will take place in the cities of Hanover, Amsterdam, Brussels and London. Main goal of the project is the encouragement and education of young urban dancers.

RED BULL BC ONE ALLSTARS

On the following weekend there will be the launch of the new project RED BULL BC ONE ALLSTARS in the Austrian Headquarter of the Red Bull company. The project will feature some of the best b-boys of the world among them world famous dancers such as Hong 10 from Korea, Lilou from France or Pélézinho from Brazil. The first appearance of the RED BULL BC ONE ALLSTARS will take place on the 3rd of june in Paris as part of the worldpremiere of the movie TURN IT LOOSE.

Vigozone School Tour sucessfully finished!

2 weeks on the road in 10 different schools in Hamburg and the Rheinland region.

Vigozone School-Tour starts

The first Vigozone School-Tour starts on the 19th of april in Hamburg. Until 23rd of april the tour stopps in 5 different local schools in Hamburg. During the tour there will be work in five different topics with experts from the fields of theatre, music/band, rap/text, hip hop dance and event management. From 03rd till 07th of may the tour will continue in the Rheinland region in the cities of Wuppertal, Mönchengladbach and Düsseldorf.

After the very successful cooperation with german Hip Hop artist Samy Deluxe and the female race driver Kati Droste, the german artist Clueso will become the new vigozone - agent.
Six Step was responsible for the assortment and will also assist Clueso during the whole vigozone campaign in 2010.

Battle of the Year 2010 Finals in France

After 20 years of Battle of the Year in Germany the organisation team decided to move the Battle of the Year to Montpellier/France this year. Date will be the november the 20th, location "La Grande Salle" in Montpellier. Beside the big final event with all international B-Boy Crews the side programme from Battle of the Year 2009 will be continued and enlarged. Planned again is a Dance Theatre Night, a 1 vs 1 Battle, the 2 vs 2 We B-Girlz Battle, Workshops and much more.
For the organisation team the decision to leave Germany was not easyto make. The German B-Boy scene and the constant audience is really important to us. But we thought that after 20 years for the Battle of the Year it is time to move on and start something new. A comeback to Germany in the future of course is possible.
The national German BOTY qualification still will take place in Germany, date will be august 21st in the Pavillon / Hannover. After the moving of the international event we plan to enlarge the national German BOTY qualification. Planned is another Dance Theatre Night, 1 vs 1 and 2 vs 2 Battles, Workshops and more.
The international BOTY qualifications as every year will start in April / May 2010.
The BOTY Team says thank you to the German B-Boy scene, all constant supporters and to the city of Braunschweig for giving the BOTY a home from 2001 to 2009!

Feuerwerk der Turnkunst on Tour

As part of the „Feuerwerk der Turnkunst“ Tour 2009/2010 three of the worldwide best breakdance acrobats from Italy, France and Germany are integrated into the tour programme through agency of the Six Step GmbH. From 28th december 2009 to 24th january 2010 the internationally well known gymnastic and acrobatic show stopps in altogether 20 German cities.

Vigozone Party Cologne

On december 12th the Vigozone Party will take place in Stadtgarten Cologne.
Besides an exclusive showcase from Vigozone agent Samy Deluxe, there will be a review from the past camps and for sure also more live performances on stage. Six Step will be responsible for the complete organisation of the event.

RED BULL BC ONE 2009 in NEW YORK CITY

On november 18th the Red Bull BC ONE is already taking place for the sixth time. This year the event takes place in the birthtown of hip hop culture New York. The Six Step team again is responsible for the whole artist management of all participating dancers and artists from all over the world.

VIGOZONE CAMP SERIES FINISHED

The fourth and last VIGOZONE camp of the year 2010 took place from 23rd to 25th october in the Villa Schaaffhausen in Bad Honnef. The slogan of the weekend was „Creativity in new media“. 20 teenagers were working with the themes of film, photography and graphic design. Guests of the weekend again were German Rapper Samy Deluxe and car racer Kati Droste.
For the end of the VIGOZONE 2010 campaign now the big final of the year party in the Cologne Stadtgarten is planned.

BATTLE OF THE YEAR WORLD FINALS 2009

The Battle of the Year anniversary week is over. Almost 10.000 spectators and more than 300 dancers and artists from all over the world were celebrating the 20th anniversary of the event in the week of the 12th to 17th october in Braunschweig. Battle of the Year Asia 2009

Six Step will travel to Battle of the Year Asia 2009 in Singapore and meet up with dance crews, DJs and MCs from Taiwan, China, Laos, Korea, Japan, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam. The aim is to cultivate business relationships and build up new contacts.

Red Bull B Boy Tour India 2009

From July 15th until August 1st 2009 „the Red Bull BBoy Tour India“ will take place in the biggest cities of the country: Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore, Goa and Heyderabad. All together 4 of the most successful international breakdancers from France, Brasil, USA and South Africa will participate in the tour. Several workshops in community centers but also shows in the big clubs of the cities are scheduled. The project was prepared and will be realized in cooperation with the Six Step team.
2. Vigozone Camp planned!

Also for the 2. Vigozone Camp, which has the Slogan "ADVENTURE FUTURE", Six Step once again is responsible for planning and organization.
The camps will be conceived in cooperation with AOK Hamburg / Rheinland. Everything works smoothly and the attendants liked it very much.
The competition to participate in Camp Nr. 2 is already over and with a highly attendance.

First Vigozone Camp sucessfully!

The first Vigozone Camp which was organized by Six Step for the AOK Hamburg / Rheinland is sucessfully over.
From all sides, wether it be the adolescents that attented the camp, the AOK Hamburg / Rheinland or the two Vigozone ambassadors Kati Droste and Samy DeLuxe, everybody is full of accolade.
In the meantime, the next camp will be already organized.

Tanz Biennale Lyon

On invitation of the French cultural institution "Banlieues D´Europe" as part of the Lyon Dance Biennale the Six Step team took part in a conference with the topic "Hip Hop Dance: History and perspectives". Aim of the conference was to support future inter-European projects within the topic of Hip Hop Dance.

Tricking in Amsterdam

Six Step was responsible for booking and organize the performance from "Crescent Reality" on the "Supperclub Cruise" in Amsterdam. The four tricking artists from Hannover / Hildesheim started the Sony Broadcast Event on the ship with their impressive show while the ship was leaving the harbor.
